Green River: River ActivitiesThe prime feature of the City of Green River is the Green River itself. This meandering flow of water comes directly through town, with points to launch your kayak, canoe or river boat. Each year, river adventurers come to set a course down the twisting waterways of this beautiful journey.Several outfits are available to organize a guided tour of the wonderful canyons both up river and down. If you are more of the self-guided type, launch from the city and take your water craft down more than 40 miles of river, headed toward Moab, and through the Horseshoe Bend.
